The Pedlar and the Bandit (Scarlet and the White Wolf 1) by Kirby Crow

Yesterday night I read Scarlet and the White Wolf by Kirby Crow. A very good story with an interesting and original setting (I don't know if define it fantasy, it could be a medieval scenario but it doesn't exist for real). I can't wait to read Marine's Luck, because the first enstallment of the story is like a prologue, where the main characters meet and began to know each other, but their story begins only in the end:

SPOILER

I think this is the first M/M ebook I read where the character share the first kiss only in the latest page and without sex for all over the book.

but in the end I like it and I also like very the other book I read, Prisoner of the Raven.

Strange feelings

today I receive the first request to make a review for a book... the writer send me an email with his booklist and the news release. I don't know how to react to it: till now I only made reviews of the books I read and like, nobody ask me to read a book and write something on it. Really, when someone ask me to read something and give an opinion, usually I can't read it, because I can't give an opinion by force.

The Butcher and the Beast by Sean Michael

I just finished to read "The Butcher and the Beast" by Sean Michael. Thanks to Mychael Black for the advice.

It is a short novel (for me, all under the 200 pages is short...) but very intensive. A story of seduction, of passion that win over conventions.

And old story indeed, like those of Rodolfo Valentino in the role of the Sheick, when he seduced a maiden. Here we have a Pirate, a strong, old style pirate, that prefer men over women, that like a bit of rough over gentleness.

But also we have a Pirate that, when the butcher's love is give freely, become the true lover.

And the Butcher is an debauche angel, a man that never has experience love nor passion, and suddendly he find first passion and later on love.
