Snow by Wheleer Scott

Tonight I read a fairy tale. I can't find a better term to describe Snow by Wheleer Scott. It's the revisited tale of SnowWhite and Cinderella but here SnowWhite/Cinderella is a young man called David and the troll aren't seven, but one name Alec. We have also a Prince Charming named Michael. And two bad but beautiful stepbrother named Prince and Princess. And the Hunter.

And, like in the old fairy tale we have sex, but we dont' read it. The sex scenes are very intuitive, like in the romance of our grandmothers (Heyer, Cartland, in Italy Liala...)

It is a very strange book, in some way unexpected. I'm a "bad girl", so when I bought it I was thinking to read something hot, a revisited tale about a young man and the miner who saved him.

Instead I read a over romantic fable, of singing lost prince and handsome princess. Really I can reccomend this reading to a teens. Or to an adult, if he wants to dream and to think to be again young and innocent. This story is like fresh water.

From that part of the Family we are both German, French (better Savoian), Austrian and Switzerland: in Switzerland there is a village named Rolle, like me. From my mother's family, I only reconstruct the tree till my grand-grand father, at the beginning of the XX century. From that part of the family we are all italian. By memory... I, Elisa, my father, Eros, my grand father, Michele (his wife, Santina; he was an emigrant in Africa, Etiopia; my father was born at Addis Abeba), my great grand mother (the single mom), Athalia (her partner Michele, who left her to return to Sicily), my grand great grand father, Giovanni Battista (he was a taylor for the King of Italy, and join the army during the Independence War of 1861), before him, other people, I don't remember the name, but I have the family tree. From mum's side, my mother, Giuliana, my grand father, Arturo (his wife Olga; he was a soldier during the WWII, but he wasn't Fascist, so he deserted from the army), my great grand father, Luigi (he was an opponent to the State, so he was arrested more times; the only photo we have of him is an identification photo by the police!), my grand great grand mother, Stella (I don't remember the name of his husband).
