Man Candy Day: Clint Shields & Tony Gibble

It was two weeks that I had Clint and Tony ready to be posted as men candy, I even told a friend to visit me on this day to see them, and just yesterday another site featured them! Well it means that they are hot in this moment, in more way than one… so well, I post them anyway, even if they are no more a surprise like they were for me when I found them on ModelMayehm. I like them both as one since they don't have that classical beauty but they are stunning together; more, they are like clay in the hand of the photographer, and doesn't matter what photographer, they manage to be unique (take a look at their portfolio and you will know what I mean)

more pics - a lot, I was inspired! )

Clint Shiels, 21 years old, and Tony Gibble, 30 years old, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania are very experienced models. They have no problem to say that they are gay and engaged, they met through ModelMayhem, a professional online network for models and photographers. They love to travel and work together and even if they don’t compare in the same shoot, they always accompanying each other. They are about to celebrate their first anniversary, and they are still very much in love and make a great couple.

Clint Shields has always been attractive growing up, but never really gave modeling a thought until he met this one photographer that inspired him and persuaded him to give it a try, telling Clint it isn’t just the looks that make a good model. Tony Gibble always wanted to become a model, to be that guy that looks back at you from a billboard or magazine cover. But the odds were against him, growing up as an overweight kid, turning into a super skinny teen but gaining all that extra weight back in his first serious relationship. Not entirely giving up his dream he did decide to focus on other things that make life worth living: he adopted a son, who then got diagnosed with mild autism. After he broke up from his first partner, Tony finally decided to give modeling a shot, and after working real hard, he did his first shot about 2 and half years ago and hasn’t looked back ever since.

It definitely as love at first sight, although that first sight didn’t happen that fast. Tony and Clint first met through the comment section on the Model Mayhem website, where Tony left a genuine comment on Clint’s work. One thing led to another and after exchanging some messages on several Internet platforms, the two future loves decided to get together. It took a few months before the first meting, but after that they pretty much never again left each others side. From day one Tony and Clint decided to share their life together, take long weekends and vacations together, work together and relax together, and raise Tony’s son together. In other words, from day one, these two men instantly knew they were destined for each other.

Clint is very friendly and outgoing, he likes to have a great time and meet new talented people but he takes what he does very seriously. One of his more recent passions lies in Extreme Posing; he loves images that require him to move and pose in Extreme Angles; he finds it to be challenging to perform and exciting to view in the finished image.

Tony has German, Swiss and Irish background at the same time he also has deep love for art, photography and fashion. He is very professional when it comes to modelling at the same time he is also very personal and easy going. Tony had appeared in ABC's soap series One Life to Live, and did the front page at 2bexposed.com; he also did a fashion portfolio for Damaged Digital, James Jackson, Kleingerd, Jim Stauffer, Colford, Trey Bruggerman and Fashion Enterprise.

Playing the Market by Drew Zachary

This is a nice tale above all since it's true to itself. It's the classical story about opposites attract, but for once no one of the two opposites has to change to meet the other at the end.

Lyle is a workaholic, but he likes his work. True, maybe he needs a bit of distraction, but all in all he has an happy life: what is better to consider the work as a play, and yourself as one of the best players? Lyle has three passion in his life work, money and clothes, and they are all related: work allows him to make money and money allows him to buy clothes... so everything is perfect.

Rupe is a free spirit; he works construction from may to september and then spend the money he gained to be free for the rest of the year. He has no home, no furniture, no owners: a bike and what he can stash in two saddlebags is all he needs.

When Rupe meets Lyle, they start a very easy relationship: sex is good and often, life is simple. They are good together and the story is also funny: both men are not judgmental, and open to new possibility; Lyle experimenting his first time at camping, in a not very comfortable setting, is something real fun, but Lyle is trying to not bitch, at least not too much... Lyle decides to find a little time for Rupe in his life, without upsetting his world, and Rupe begins something steady for him, at his own rules. No one of them really change a lot, and their life are still independent, but for a little bit they slide on parallel path.

The story is not very long, less than 120 pages, but what I really like is that sense of easiness; there are no really crash in the story, Lyle and Rupe love each other in a very complementary way, but they know that they are two different men, both of them with their need. The philosophy of the story is letting go to really hold.

Not in Kansas by R.G. Alexander

The story is nice, maybe a little too short, only 52 pages.

It's a revisiting of The Wizard of Oz story, with Dorothy who here is named Kansas (like the United State) and it's not from Kansas, but from Iowa. Kansas is a independent wealthy man who decided to live like an hermit in his family land. When he is swept away from a tornado, no one notices his absence, and so Kansas is free to enjoy is adventure.

He awakes in a strange world, inhabited by half-man half-beast being; the first two he meets are a cat like man and a bird like woman, a strange couple indeed. When the two find this strange being with bare skin and blue eyes, they think that it would be a nice gift for their king and decide to bring Kansas to him, even if the cat-like man would like to have a taste. In this world sensuality is the normal behavior and sex is almost a recreational activity; Kansas will discover that even a simple bath in a pond has sexual consequences, and not thanks to another being, but since the waters are alive.

When Kansas arrives to the king's palace, the first human-like man he meets is Z, a wizard. He is almost "normal" if not for the fact that he is extremely handsome and gold colored. Z. tells Kansas that, if he wants to have the chance to go back to home, he should refuse the king... and here maybe The Wizard of Oz mixed with One Thousand and One Nights. And here maybe is where I'd like the story to be a bit longer: there is an acceleration that brings the reader to the end of the story when it would be interesting to have more; the relationship between the King and Kansas is only hinted, and almost chaste in comparison to all the other sexual experiences Kansas had before "consorting" with the King.

Naughty thought on the title: Not in Kansas means that the story is not setting in Kansas like The Wizard of Oz, or that the King is not allowed to "enter" Kansas (and I don't mean the State...)

Anyway as I said the story is nice and enjoyable, more funny than serious; this is not the classical fantasy tale heavy in details, but it's more a funny escapade in a world that maybe is the dream world in Kansas' mind.
