2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Bar None (Hoppy Hare #1)

Bar None (Hoppy Hare #1) by Tia Fielding

A fully enjoyable story written by an amazing writer. This story really hits your good feels. Unrequited love can really kick you in the teeth until it doesn't. Good, enjoyable characters, a well-constructed plot and development, and the writing, well, spot on. This story puts the reader right on the front seat of the (imaginary) theater. Well done!

2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Constant (The Valespian Pact #3)

Constant (The Valespian Pact #3) by Lexi Ander

I'll be the first one to admit Sci-Fi is at the bottom of my list of genres to read. Except for this series. Wow! What a wonderful, amazing story this is. It follows the lives of a Royal Family. In this episode, we get to watch while twin Mestor and Warrior Sohm'lan finally accept that they belong to each other, that no matter their age difference, they can't deny what they feel for each other. They face a lot of dangerous missions, battles, and betrayals from those they'd trusted in the past, and even if battered, they have survived. This is an amazing series from an amazing writer, and I can't wait to read the next installment. Highly recommended. This is a full 10 from me.

2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Hooked On You

Hooked On You by K. Evan Coles

This is a well-written, enjoyable story. Well-liked, friendly characters. Funny at times with a slow-burn romance. In the end, these two men do belong together. They make a great couple.
