2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: A Blind Eye

A Blind Eye by David Jackson Ambrose

Painful to read how people are so mistreated. David Jackson Ambrose, I think, has a bright future. Ambrose is very good at setting.

2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Remember Me, Synthetica

Remember Me, Synthetica by K. Aten

A truly intriguing story that kept me guessing the entire way through. This is a subtle story that sneaks up on you. It’s impeccably paced. The characters are original and unforgettable. And, unlike so many equally enjoyable stories, Remember Me Synthetica asks the deeper questions about the nature of love and of humanity itself. Thoroughly original and exceptionally well done.

2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Farview (Greynox to the Sea)

Farview (Greynox to the Sea) by Kim Fielding

This is a lovely fairytale-like story with a sweet ending, and main characters who quickly made me care about them, particularly Oliver. The feel is charming, magical and yet full of small day-to-day details that add hints of reality.
