What Happened to the poser covers of Changeling Press?

Today I opened Changeling Press site and was struck. Look at this hot hot cover:

Apart the fact that the man in this cover is the lost twin of one of my first crush when I was still an innocent teen (yes, also naughty Elisa was innocent many many years ago...), I think this is the first time that I can say without doubt that I like one of the covers by Changeling Press.

I'm a faithful reader of Changeling, I think they have very interesting stories and authors, but usually their covers are... UGLY! But this time... I would buy the book, even if the author wasn't good (and she is good) only to have this cover!

By the way the cover artist is Bryan Keller

The lad looks too high-maintenance to pique my interest, but it's nice to see that Changeling is listening to the many, many people who were turned off by the dreaded Posers.

This week there is another cover that is not bad

always by Bryan Keller. It's like a new trend, I hope it will continue. Even if Changeling has short stories, some of them are very interesting and it's a shame that some readers are repelled by the covers.
