It's only my name...

I just opened an ebook to read my "nightly" book before sleep and there, in the first page, under the title Praising (the book is a sequel of a previous one), there was part of one of my reviews and then my name, Elisa Rolle... I didn't know that the publisher had used my review, I didn't even know that that publisher knew about me and my LJ.

For an author probably is a common thing, but for me it's always a little thrilling and a pleasure to see my name "printed"!

E' così che alcuni di noi hanno scovato la piccola perla che è il tuo LJ ;)
In un certo senso dovrei ringraziarti, anzi ti ringrazio proprio! :P
Quando ho iniziato a leggere questo tipo di libri, andavo un po' alla cieca. E' vero che il blurb ti dà un'idea del contenuto ma spesso mi sono trovata che è un'idea molto vaga di quello che è poi lo scritto, specie per lo stile e altri piccoli dettagli. Leggere la tua opinione mi aiuta a decidere se affrontare un nuovo autore o tenerlo per momenti successivi. Inoltre ho anche scoperto altre case editrici oltre alle principali e più note.
Grazie di aver condiviso la tua passione con gli altri.

p.s. non so in che ebook tu abbia scovato la tua recensione, ma per esempio nell'edizione Print di With Caution di J.L. Langley ci sei, ma presumo tu lo sappia XD

BTW I sent for my art books today *rubs hands with glee*. They're coming from the US so I hope they arrive in time for my Xmas break, though I'll have to hide in the bathroom to read them, away from my boys *lol*.

I'll let you know when they arrive, which ones I chose, and what I think of them!! Needless to say, I overspent my gift vouchers by LOTS *haha*
