Lemongrass by Fireangels

A big thanks to my friend Laura Carboni, the very talented Zel, to send me her fabolous art book, Lemongrass by German publisher Fireangels. I believe for now is only available in Germany, but if you love very original yaoi, you absolutely need to buy this one. Of the authors inside I knew only Laura, but they are all very good.

As you can see the cover outside is very... black! But inside... it's scorching!

If you want to have an idea, take a look to the post I wrote on Laura Carboni, most of the images in it are also in the art book:

And here the link to Amazon.de:

Wow, those pics are very cool. And Love Circles was pretty good, too! I instantly added the book to my wishlist. Thanks for the tip!

And you are also in the right country! Elisa

Yeah, a rare occurence. Most of the time I have to order my stuff at Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com. Why shouldn't I be lucky for once? *lol*

I love Laura Carboni's art! Especially the cover for Gadarene :D

I also think Fireangels puts out some other good artbooks. In 2008, they had a yin & yang themed calendar that I liked so I got it (even though I can't read German XP. I'm eyeing 2009's calendar. It's about the four elements and it looks really good, judging from the preview. The picture for January was really smokin'.

Yes, I saw that they have some very good stuff. It's a very particular type of yaoi, but very interesting. Elisa

Why don't you make a folly? But be aware, don't open it in front of your mother like me! Elisa

Tee Hee...

My mother wants to read my book. I said not no, but hell no. She's not happy, but she's old, and I couldn't take the chance... *g*

Lo sai che è sempre ben meritata. E poi non è pubblicità, ci faccio una bella figura a promuovere delle cose così belle :-)

E comunque ancora MILLE GRAZIE, è un regaolo STUPENDO!

Damn, she's good -- these are stunning images! Guess I'm gonna have to figure out how to order the book from overseas.

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Since it's Amazon de I believe the page is similat to USA :-) Click and try! Elisa

It's hard for us Americans to use the European Amazon sites because European currencies are much stronger that the dollar right now. Plus, shipping often costs twice as much as the book(s), so I'll have to find alternative ways to buy it.

Thank for your help, though!

Oh, yeah, and I don't read the language! It was all Greek to me . . . :-)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I was jocking :-) Once I try to buy from the french site and it was a nightmare... but I think you can find it on ebay (USA) maybe. Elisa

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Never tried the Japanese site? :-) maybe is simpler... Elisa

[identity profile] marame.livejournal.com 2008-09-03 03:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll send you a purchase link when I figure it out so other Americans can buy it, too.

It will be useful :-)
