Bloody English by Renee George

It's a lot of time since I read an interesting vampire story like this one.

Samuel is a PI specialized in finding missins person. He is a thirty something quite handsome man, but he is a bit reclusive. He is an Amish, but he has left his people when he has realized to be in love with his best friend, a man. But even if he now lives among the "English", he continues to bring on his simple life, avoiding phisycal contact with other people. He is a strong man, but he is still a virgin, and that makes him both independent and naivee.

Alistair is an almost two hundreds years old vampire. He despises what he had become, but he tries to look after on his descendents, and to not hurt who is around him. But when his grand-nephew goes missing and Samuel is hired to find him, Alistair can't help him to stay far from the handsome PI.

Reading this book I was expecting to read the seduction of a shy Amish, and instead you will read the conquer of a disenchanted vampire. Both Samuel and Alistair are strong character, but in the end Samuel is stronger than Alistair, maybe cause he is more at peace in his soul.

I have really appreaciated The Beast series by Renee George, and this one is a good addition to her works, better I have to say that I like this best.

Yeah, it's all Elisa's fault. I had a New Year's resolution not to buy anymore books until I whittled down my to-read list.

Thanks to Elisa I lasted three whole days!
