Happy Merry Ending (2023)

 Happy Merry Ending, as the title suggests, is a classical love at first sight romance. There is a little bit of drama, due to a past abandonment trauma of Seung Jun, but nothing huge. There is the usual break-up, to then get back together happier than before. If I have to be true, in this case, I even liked the two opponents of Jae Hyun, both entangled with Seung Jun: his best friend, who harbors an unrequited love for him, and even the former manager, the real villain of this story. This series was not extraordinary, but cute enough to make it enjoyable. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Heat Level: 3/6.

Hidden Agenda (2023)

 Hidden Agenda is not particular original, an enemies to lovers thrope without much surprises. It's clear from the beginning that Joke is already interested in Zo, and he uses the excuse to help Zo conquer his love interest to get near him. Of course Zo is at first unsettled, but after a bit fall for Joke, who is basically the perfect boyfriend, if not for the fact that Zo didn't believe he was interested in men. The biggest value of this series are the kisses between Joke and Zo (I'm not joking), other than that, nothing to talk home about. HEA. You can see it on Youtube. Heat Level: 4/6.

Individual Circumstances (2023)

 Individual Circumstances was not bad per se, but I found it a little complicated, and it started very slow, therefore it was not able to catch my interest. Overall it was original, at least it detoured a little bit from the usual thrope of former fellow college students falling in love in college, but indeed the romance between Ha Yeon Woo and Sung Woo Jae is not developed much, and, again, it didn't spark interest in me. Maybe it was too much brainy, if someone is searching something slightly more original in the storyplot, this could be a good chance. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala, iQIYI and Viki. Sahara Sensei to Toki-kun (2023)

 I was a little bit worried about Sahara Sensei and Toki-kun, because, yes, lets admit it, I'm not fond of the student/teacher pair, it always gives me the idea there is a unbalanced power dynamics, that there is someone older taking advantage of someone younger and impressionable. This is not the case of this series. First of all the age difference is relative, I would say 17 against 22 or 23. Second, while it's not the first time Sahara falls in love, it's the first time he had the chance to physically live this love; third, and most important, Sahara is strictly maintaining the relationship to a student/teacher level till Toki is graduating high school. Only then, Sahara is allowing for their feelings to fully develop. So yes, I really enjoyed this series, it was funny, cute, sweet, everything I wanted from an high school romance, nothing inappropriate for the ages of these characters. Toki is a wonderful character, so naive and yet so aware of himself and of whom he loves. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and iQIYI. Heat Level: 2/6.
