La Pluie (2023)

 La Pluie had an interesting concept, two soulmates who can hear each other talking during rainy days, but sincerely it failed in making me interested in the romance. Patts and Tai are cute, and I really hoped for the love story to be interesting, but again I found the usual thrope of wanting/not wanting, legs go on a field trip, maybe something happens, OK it happened, but lets put some unecessary drama, lets make peace, HEA. As I said, maybe I have seen to many of them, and they need to be very particular to make them interesting. You can see it on iQIYI and Viki. Heat Level: 5/6.

Love Syndrome III (2023)

 OK, I think Love Syndrome III is a good example of how you can enjoy a BL series since it's so bad. The past of Day and Itt is horrible, their relationship started from a rape, Day raped Itt since Itt basically planned with Gear for Gear to rape Night, Day's brother. Yes I'm not joking. Now both Day and Itt, and Gear and Night are in loving relationships, and Day is this character out of a bad action movie (should we talk of the moment he is fighting and he decides to kiss Itt in the meanwhile?). I already noticed it, Lee Long Shi is sometipe of martial arts expert, and therefore they always have him show it off. Anyway, why I enjoyed it? becuase it's funny more than realistic, and Day and Itt are bickering and having sex at the same time, at least they are giving me some thrill. The rape was in the past, yes, by principle, you should not like Day or Itt, but this is fiction not reality. HEA. You can see it on Viki and WeTV. Heat Level: 5/6.

Make a Wish (2023)

 The plot of Make a Wish is interesting, a doctor, Phakphum, is able to see ghosts and he asks help to an angel (thai version of angels) to have this ability removed; the angel, Krit, possesses the body of one of Phakphum's patient, who is brain-dead, to be able to walk in the human world and in the meantime he falls in love with Phakphum. So yes, not bad, but it wasn't well played; both of them seemed out of role, starting from Phakphum, who has the look of a rock star more than a doctor... I'm not sure in real life they would allove to a multipled pierced doctor to work in a respectable hospital (lets aside the hygiene rules...). I also didn't particularly feel chemistry between Phakphum and Krit... actually the only once my romance thirst was slightly quenched was with the bad guy ghost who didn't want to leave his lover. HEA. Heat Level: 3/6.
