Close Friend (2021)

 I'm not much for anthologies, but Close Friend is only 4 couples, and with season 2 they detailed 2 out of 4 of those couples, and lucky me, one of them was my favorite, Jedi and Ray. Ray is a barista and a huge fan of idol Jedi, who sometime comes take coffee at his workplace. In private, Ray has a virtual machine and he can interact with an hologram of Jedi, who, after a bit, start to seem way to much real. In the meantime, Typhoon and Pierce, already a couple, start to have some misunderstanding when Typhoon does not come out at work, and treats him more like a roommate than a boyfriend. Close Friend s2 focus on Jedi and Ray, and here the thrope of famous male lead who has to conquer the public opinion to be able to have an HEA with his ordinary man partner is perfectly played. Enchanté (2022)

 Enchanté falls into the secret crush/mistake identy thrope. Childhood friend Theo and Akk meet again after a long separation and of course, Akk has a secret crush on Theo, but he doesn't come out to him. He sends hidden love messages in a french book to Theo, who set on the quest to search for his secret admirer with the help of, guess who?, Akk! What follows is the classic comedy with 4 different men pretending to be the secret admirer, and the real secret admirer, Akk, trying to avoid one of them to mislead Theo, when the easier thing to do would have been to just come out. This could have been a charming series, but it dragged too long, I would have preferred more time about Theo and Akk. HEA. You can see it on Facebook. Heat Level: 3/6.

First Love Again (2022)

 First Love Again was nice; I have to try convince myself to not make too many questions, like, for example, is Yeon Seok dying every time, or he is just simply remaining the same while the people around him get older and die? But aside from that, I liked this story, it was mostly funny and sweet, Yeon Seok is, basically, a goofy man; he should be this intelligent and aloof big shot author, but in reality, he is just a man in love for 300 years of the same person, and he just wants to fulfill this love. In comparison Jeong Ha Yeon, while younger, is more set on his persona, it appears stronger, and he is the first to accept his feelings. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Heat Level: 3/6.

No Touching At All (2014)

 My new obsession, the manga of Kou Yoneda, made me remember that I have seen this Japanese movie, No Touching at All, and I quite enjoyed it. For once, being a Japanese movie, they were quite openly passionate. Moreover, I fell in love with the rude, but with a tender heart, Togawa. True, his courtship of Shima was not exactly romantic, that first night I was like, Oh, he is really doing it?, but then, in a way, Togawa was the one who gave eveything to this relationship, forcing Shima to realize he has finally found someone sincere. The story was sweet and sexy at the same time. Really liked it. HEA. Heat Level: 6/6.
