Ghost Host, Ghost House (2022)

 Ghost Host, Ghost House was quite original in the plot not related to the romance. Sure, it was easily understandable who were the ghosts in the story, but that is basically in the title, so not very big spoiler, but all the story revolving around it was, at the same time, dramatic, tender and even a little bit funny. The love story of Kawin and Pluem is instead quite ordinary, not really sparking much interest, even if, yes, they were quite passionate. The cinematography was good, even if I think this is not a big production budget, so kudos to give the right feeling to the story. The actors, aside from the main couples, were good as well, actually sometime even better. For once I was more interested in them than the romance. HEA. You can see on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 5/6.

Happy Ending Romance (2022)

The only thing that upset me in Happy Ending Romance is that, all three men in the love triangle were good, and basically, if I was Cha Jung Woo, I wouldn't been able to choose between Kim Jung Hyun and Han Tae Young, for different reasons, they are both perfect. Moreover, from what I gathered, Cha Jung Woo is having a relationship with Kim Jung Hyun, so basically, when he starts to have interest in Han Tae Young, he is basically cheating, and I don't like cheating (I know, I know, I accept many things, but cheating really I don't like; a polyamorous relationship is acceptable, cheating is not). Anyway, I have the feeling Cha Jung Woo is not considering Kim Jung Hyun's feelings, like he is accepting Kim Jung Hyun's love like something that is there, that he can use, but that is not something he asked or will want in the future. I felt bad for Kim Jung Hyun. Said that, already the fact this series had me these feelings, is good, cause at least, it was something out of ordinary. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. HIStory5: Love in the Future (2022)

 Sincerely there were a little bit too much holes in the story of Tai Che Ni and Hai Yi, the main couple of HIStory5, to make me enjoy it completely. But instead I liked quite a lot the side couple Liang Wen Hsen and Lin Huai En, so much that made it worth the watch. The time travel element is basically adding nothing to the plot, just sometime Tai Che Ni having difficulties to relate to the future (but neither much, like being able to use a smartphone at first try, Steve Jobs would be happy indeed, he was the one saying you shouldn't use a manual and you should able to use the smartphone at glance). Also Tai Che Ni is so worried for his grandmother, but when he knew she is dead by a broken heart after he disappeared, he says, oh, well, no need to go back ?!? Sorry, if you go back your grandmother would not be dead! So yes, the furistic element for me was not well plotted, aside from that the series was nice. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki.
