I absolutely loved this one! While you might have to suspend your belief when a simple pair of glasses and some bangs act as a perfect, foolproof disguise, the story is, all in all, a delightful comedy that's beautifully executed. The relationship between Shinobu and Hiraku starts with all the wrong intentions—a classic setup! However, it quickly becomes clear that both of them are fundamentally nice guys who are completely incapable of actually being mean. What begins as a one-night stand effortlessly evolves into a genuine relationship. This shift is solidified as Shinobu realizes that Hiraku's feelings are completely sincere—so sincere, in fact, that Shinobu begins to feel fiercely protective of him, almost like a knight in shining armor! Forget the angst and drama! This is pure romantic comedy from start to finish. The chemistry between the leads is wonderful, demonstrating that they truly are perfect for each other. A special shout-out has to go to the side characters: the twin twinks are an absolute blast! They provide some of the funniest moments and really elevate the humor of the series. Plus, the graphic style is visually appealing and complements the lighthearted tone perfectly. If you're looking for a sweet, genuinely funny, and drama-free romantic comedy about two men falling in love despite their initial, misguided intentions, this is a must-read!
