Man Candy Day: Max Rogers & Freddy Bradshaw

Models on YouTube seems to be the last trend, but even if I sometime post the link to some video, I really don't like the ones that are simple a collection of photos, I prefer to see my photo in a static post, to enjoy the work of a good photographer. But sometime the video are really little movie: I posted in the past the link to Hustle, a short Super 8 film directed by Joseph Sinclair, and starred by Max Rhyser, one of my favorite man candy (http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/347144.html). Last week I found another of these Super 8 films by Joseph Sinclair, Marionette (in Italian Marionette means Puppets), this time co-directed by Max Rogers, who also starred in it with another model, Freddy Bradshaw.

Max Rogers, 26 years old, is currently one of European most successful male models. He shot for Dolce&Gabbana and appeared on GQ cover (and inside article). And I'm not the only one to choose him as Man Candy, he is also a Man Candy for Dylan Rosser. Currently signed with Storm Models. He is a keen artist.

Freddy Bradshaw, 21 years old, is a fellow Storm Model of Max. I didn't find a lot of info about him on the net, but he lately he worked a lot, so probably we will hear his name in the future.

To complete Max Rogers' profile, this is a film inspired by 60's Icon & Superstar, Edie Sedgwick, starring Emily Durnell & Max Rogers. Shot in London, March 2008, title Superstar:

And finally this film was shot during the latest Dynamite Hosts photoshoot. Directed by Joseph Sinclair & Max Rogers (thanks to Kevin at Aussiebum)

I just left a comment elsewhere about how curls are my fetish, so I really must thank you for all these pictures of Max! ♥!

Hm. Young male models shot in a style I usually see in fashion shots of young women. And my response is the same, I'm afraid -- I want to make those poor skinny kids a nice plate of spaghetti. For me, there's a point where thin looks sad, not sexy.

My thoughts exactly. That boy needs to eat.

I like a beautiful mane in a man, but only if the mane is "health", and Max has obviously a wonderful example of curly hair. Elisa

You think Max is too skinny? Freddy yes, probably he would help a bit of pasta, but I think that Max has a good tone. Elisa

Oh, well, I'm the last who should speak, I, on the contrary of them, should avoid pasta! Elisa

How beautiful. That curly boy has my hair. (I swear.) Of course mine is either gray and shorter or dyed purple and shorter but... dang. That's my hair.

it looks better on him though.

I think that you have to have character to have hair like that, and being very skinny! Max is really strange, but I like him. Elisa

Not in all the shots - but where his ribs are showing, yes! He's young, though -- I expect he'll add on a bit of muscle in a couple of years.

Yes, probably. Men tend to gain weight from thirty years and on ;-) Elisa

Yes. I suppose it would have helped to be an uber hot young handsome boy. I grew up when everyone ironed their hair straight.

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 09:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'm like that, I have not very curly, but quite curly hair (I have waves...), but I always iron them (like I have in SF last September). Than sometime my hairdresser convinces me to let them as they naturally are, and people said I look good, but I can't stand to see me in the mirror...

I really like my curls, but now, as a woman of a certain age, I can't really see myself with that mop of hair. And it doesn't grow long enough to braid into a coronet or something classy like that. So. As long as I don't look like Liza the rehab edition? I'm good.
