The Rainbow Awards: State of Art
As promised I'm posting a periodical State of Art for the Rainbow Awards. Please remember that your reference posts for the awards are the Awards Guidelines (http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/993088.html) and the Current Submissions (http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/993937.html). Current Submissions in particular will be always update, so please check it out to see who has already submitted books and in which category.

At today I have 46 judges, considering that they will read 5 books each, and each book will be read by at least 3 judges, in this moment I can assure that 77 books will be read and judge in this year Rainbow Awards. Among the Jury, 6 judges specifically asked to read and judge Lesbian Fiction, and they are all very skilled and good judges, so please, Lesbian authors and publishers, submit your books.
The Jury is quite various, 13 authors, 5 professional reviewers, 3 editors/publishers and 22 devoted readers ;-) Plus our most recent new entry, an actor/author and also TV entertainer, one of the "Out 100" for Remarkable Contributions to Gay Culture in 2005 by Out Magazine... if you are curious to know their name, I will post the Jury in mid April, and please, if you want to be among them, contact me, I'd really like to have at least 70 judge, so that we will be able to read and judge more than 100 books.
