In a small town in southern China, a man of Western appearance is found naked on a riverbank. At the local hospital, Jiang, a handsome nurse’s aide, takes an interest in the foreigner and the two develop a wordless bond. When Jiang learns the foreigner is to be sent to a mental institution, he risks everything by whisking him away to his uncle’s country home where he uncovers secrets from the stranger’s past.

Looks stunningly beautiful...nervous about this one though. I have found that Asian films usually have very depressing endings AND it will have subtitles and I miss so much of the movie when I am trying to read the subtitles...

it's from Hong Kong so maybe it's in English, but yes, don't trust the ending (I'm still burned by Bangkok Love Story (2007))
