Kenya Shimizu: Homoerotic Fantasies

Kenya Shimizu was born in Fukui Prefecture in Japan, 1976. He devoted himself early on to mastering the techniques of his art. His homo-erotic fantasies (pen and ink) – very much in the Japanese erotic tradition – are brilliant compositions executed with panache and great skill. His paintings on gold and silver leaf, are masterpieces of watercolour workmanship; His watercolours of modern Japan – reveal and portray the present-day homo-erotic fantasies of the ‘salarymen’ and students of today’s Japan.

Art from Japan has always had a special significance in the West. Superb technique, traditional stylization, and wonderful naturalism that comes from acute observation, have always captivated connoisseurs. Don't let it get to you, regardless. Certainly your blog won't be for everyone, but what on the internet is? I agree with the other poster. You're doing something well, which always attracts a few demons. Kick it out the door with the rest of the trash and call it done so you can keep doing what you do so well.

What a totally stupid and rude thing to say!!! It's amazing how some people feel that the internet gives them the right to behave so disgustingly. I'm not surprised it was anonymous, that type of person it usually too cowardly to say things like that up front.
