On Wings of Blue by Anne Cain

Eiji is a young travelling musician who is so unlucky to draw the undesired attention of a cruel warlord. He is held captive in the warlord's palace and for one month he manages to avoid the sexual advances of the warlord. But his time is near finished and he has no way to escape. Then his gentle soul and fair look, and his beautiful music draw also the attention of another being, this time a magical butterfly who asks to the gods to give him a human body to be able to love and free Eiji.

Eiji is a simple boy. He is still innocent even if he knows what happens around him. He knows to be pretty and that he can gain money or favors using his body, but I think he is intimidated by the "adult" desire. He wants to love and share sex with someone similar to him: he needs a tender touch and soft kisses. He is like the butterflies, a fragile soul, easily to be scared.

Hakusa, the butterfly, is a free spirit. Really we don't know much about him, so it's difficult to have on opinion. I can only say that he is deeply in love with Eiji.

The story is rather short, less than 40 pages, but it's very romantic and also a bit erotic. Despite talking of fair butterfly and pretty young boy, there are also some erotic scenes, not at all "light and easy" like a butterfly fling.

In the end I have only a question... what will happen next?
