2016 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Minacious Malice by K’Anne Meinel (82-04-15-2016)

Minacious Malice starts nicely and then gets better and better. The author has developed her characters, setting and plot skillfully. The story is well-written and flows. The relationship between Sasha and Alice is intriguing and believable. I have no doubt that readers will enjoy this novel, especially if they like intrigue.

Can she forgive, much less forget, why they broke up in the first place? Murder, planned murder especially, takes time. Alice must feel ‘justified’ in who she targets. She also must take into account that Sasha is not only a witness, but an accomplice to what Alice must do. Sasha will be shocked as she realizes the depth of what Alice is capable of.
