I'm most impressed by this. I was reading all the driving directions and I couldn't do it...I would never be able to find my way or drive on those sorts of highways.

Perth, Western Australia, though it seems large to me is just a sleepy little one horse town by world standards.

DUDE. Dude dude DUDE - I live in Maine. As in Bar Harbor country. Do you want to try and find a way of hooking up somewhere somehow?

(although I should be clear that I live up by Bangor, though)

Your trip sounds fantastic, Elisa. Sleepy Hollow and Salem! Very cool.

You are so going to LOVE Provincetown!! You'll wish you had a week to stay there, I promise you. I go there every year for a long weekend and would love to retire up there one day.

It's just a great combination of natural beauty and campy-artsy madness!

Enjoy!

You'll be seeing some of the best of the US.
We're having cooler than usual weather and more rain than usual, too, so be sure to bring an umbrella!

If I could drive, I'd try to meet you, but I am still too "recovering" to drive a car. Be careful on the highways. There are some crazy drivers out on the roads.

Alas! You won't be in Philadelphia long enough for me to meet you. I too think you will enjoy Provincetown very much. I used to visit every year, but not for a few years now. September is a perfect time and it is a salsa of funk and fun and class and beauty. Enjoy yourself.

So many fantastic places!! I hope you have an amazing time, Elisa! I'd love to hear your thoughts on many of your stopping points, especially Bar Harbor and Salem. :)

Bon Voyage!!
