Man Candy Day: Alex Lago, Erik Bunten & Justin Clynes

Lately every time I see a picture of an handsome and young sprawled on a bed or with some sport equipment, my brain immediately connect with one name: Rick Day. I think I'm able 9 to 10 to recognize one of his shot, and it's not only for the bed or sport equipment above, it's also for the use of basic color, white, black and red, and for his ability to turn a simple guy in a sport God. So today I'd like to feature three of these guys, Alex Lago, Erik Bunten and Justin Clynes... I bet that most of my friends already know their pictures, maybe it's nice also to know their names and the name of the photographer who made them so good.

Alex Lago is 19 years old from Duluth, Georgia.

He is actually signed with a modelling agency. He has been in high school plays, involved in several shoots with quite a few models and photographers, been in a couple fashion shows.

“I always bring a great amount of energy and fun to every shoot I do! If you aren't friends with me by the end of the shoot, well..... then..... lets face it..... you're kinda weird! Hahaha”

Erik Bunten, 21 years old from Ft. Pierce, FL, but he has German and Scottish origins (as you can clearly see…). He first got into modeling when he was a in high school, when his aunt started pushing him to try it.

He is a a full time college student and he is signed with Evolution Management, and has done numerous photo shoots with, for example, Ricardo Salazaar, Ethan James, Adam White, Eric Sutton, and Rick Day.

Even if he is a model, most days he like to go out commando in a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and flops. In his free time, he likes to play a lot of guitar, a little racquetball here and there, spend a ton of time at the gym, and surf a lot.

Justin Clynes is a 24-year-old American actor and model from Hell's Kitchen, New York, who has twice graced the cover of Genre magazine, including a notable tiny-towel cover in October, 2007. He was selected as Cosmo's Guy Without His Shirt back in June, 2005. He's represented by Unity Models and Click Models. Original from Florida but located in NYC. Justin is not just a model, he is a photographer and actor. His face is recognized for being one of Rick Day's muses.

He's appeared in TV shows including CSI:NY and appeared on Broadway in a revival of The Ritz.

Clynes stands 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 160 lbs. He has appeared in a number of mostly clothing ad campaigns: Simons, Diesel and Macy's.

His favorite things to do are interior and architectural design.

"I have a really creative personality, and I like to use my hands to build things," he says.

I like that the models aren't hairless. That's a weird thing to notice, but I think I've gotten so accustomed to seeing male models waxed or shaved that it was a bit startling - in a good way. I like natural looks. ;)
