Jesse Hajicek has written 27 stories for Fantasy, Supernatural, Western, Horror, Fable, Sci-Fi, Romance, Essay, General, and Humor.

About me: I'm a grownup. I'm a guy. I'm not a big fat flaming faggot; I'm THE big fat flaming faggot. I'm not a gumball machine. You don't put a 'squee' in the slot and get a chapter out. I write when I feel like it. Fortunately, I feel like it a lot. I love constructive criticism. My ego is not fragile. I won't burst into tears if you point out an opportunity for improvement. I smoke, drink, and scratch myself in public. I'm the goddamn Batman.

Imprisioned for 'inflammatory writings' by the totalitarian Theocracy, shy intellectual Ashleigh Trine figures his story's over. But when he meets Kieran Trevarde, a hard-hearted gunslinger with a dark magic lurking in his blood, Ash finds that necessity makes strange heroes... and love can change the world.

Gran bel libro. *nods*

BTW, dal retrocopertina è un lui non una lei :P

Recita così: "Jesse Hajicek lives in a decrepit old house in St. Paul with other members of Studio Whipping Boy. He was born in 1972 and still not sorry"

Non so se però è ancora attuale...

Grazie!

I read this book last year and can say, hand on heart, it's one of the best gay novels I've ever said. In fact, I loved it so much I didn't blk at the £17 price tag to by it.

E' sempre un piacere un commento da parte tua ;-) Elisa

This is a sign of good book, also I often buy a good book in print, since I love to have them in my hands. Elisa

Hello! I'm new here, my name is Olga. Elise, I visit your LJ pretty often now and I wanted to say that I appreciate your effort. :)

I read this book a couple of months ago and even though I haven't read more than a hundred gay novels yet I'd say this one was really good and interesting and intriguing. I liked the pace, I liked the way their love developed, I also liked thier adventures and I liked that sex scenes weren't in abundance. The story was weird sometimes as I'm not used to sci-fi and usually I don't read it but this one turned out quite, err...balanced. I hope people will buy it - not just read online. :)

Yes, you are right. Also I hope that people will buy it in print, and I know that many already have, since this one is one of the most shared gay novels in LibraryThing.

And thank for your kind words about my LJ. Welcome! Elisa

I bought it in print with a bit of trepidation. I'm so glad I did. It was an awesome read and I'd buy it again!

It's a quorum for buying it in print ;-) Quite a success for a self-published book. Elisa

''The God Eaters'' is a book I've reread three times. With my current lack of time, this says it all about how much I loved it!

Thank you for mentioning it!

Ciao
