Silhouette of Your Voice is a sweet and lyrical love story. Indeed, it's probably more pure than an ordinary love story, cause here we don't see any sexual interest involved (or at least they don't let us be part of that) and Sugihara Kohei's interest in Sagawa Taiichi is strong but not physical. Apparently Taiichi's voice is the only one that Kohei can hear distinctively, where else all other are only murmurs. It's clear to everyone that they are building a bond that is stronger than friendship, but not to Taiichi. When faced with it, Taiichi's first reaction is rejection. But the rejection is not hurting only Kohei, it's hurting also Taiichi, and in the end, he resolves to approach again Kohei, candidly admitting he hasn't the same feeling of Kohei, but nevertheless he wants to continue with their friendship... what will happen next, it's up to you to imagine.
