According to me Ossan's Love Returns is better than the first series. First of all, there are more intimate moments between Haruta Soichi and Maki Ryota; don't get me wrong, nothing sexual (they don't even kiss), but they talk and stay together, I think that every single episode see them together talking about love and life. It was good since I have always missed them as a couple. Then the setting is faboulous, very modern Japan, loved it. And then the introduction of the new couple, Izumi Kou and Rikudo Kikunosuke, was very nice, I actually found them as interesting as Haruta and Maki. Of course there is also Kurosawa Musashi and his unrequited love for Haruta, and yes, I don't think Haruta is insensible to him, not at all, Maki's jealousy is right on the spot. The plot is a little bit absurd, but that is the essence of this series. Didn't mind it. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Heat Level: 2/6.
