Yakuza in Love by Dupal and Molimi

Min Joon thought studying abroad in Japan would mean the beginning his fabulous gay life. But instead, he’s scammed by his boyfriend, loses his passport and is basically screwed. What’s worse, a kid comes up to him calling him “mama” and before he knows it, he’s being kidnapped by the yakuza. Then the hot yakuza boss makes him an offer he can’t refuse… so now it’s either be “mama” to his little kid or to not live at all. What to do, what to do? And this yakuza boss is just too hot for his own good…
My Rate: 7 (www.lezhinus.com/en/comic/yakuza_love_en and www.lezhinus.com/en/comic/yakuza_love_en_s2)
I admit that I finished this one just cause I liked the story concept, but the realization of it was somewhat dry, almost without emotion. The absolute winner among all the characters is Toma, the little baby who suddenly decide young Min Joon, a man, is his mama, and there is no way he will let him go. Therefore Toma's father, a yakuza boss, kidnap Min Joon and the only chance of survival for Min Joon is to accept to play the role of Toma's mama... with all the consequences, meaning he will be also the yakuza boss's lady. A story that could have been a good mix of comedy, romance and erotic, came out instead like a minimum effort school project, meaning there were all the elements for it to be a full mark result, and instead we have just a pass.
