I'm ashamed to say I hadn't really thought about it like that. Joshua is talked into hooking by teh evol pimp so I was thinking it's voluntary and not non-com, but then he can't really get out of it for fear of bodily harm.

It's further muddled because the people he's having sex with aren't the pimp, so it's sort of rape-once-removed. But still rape.

Huh. I like to write funny so I don't have to think about the big issues and now I am. I think it's a plot device I might not use again in future now that you've opened my eyes.
