Victor Gadino: A Mysterious Artist

For all romance fans, the name of Victor Gadino maybe says nothing, but he is the cover artist for some of the most famous romance savage covers like Prisoner of My Desire (just the title!) of Johanna Lindsey and Lord of the Wolves by Heather Graham. But what probably most of the romance readers don't know, is that Victor Gadino is also the cover artist for the first novels by Gordon Merrick, like The Quirk. Plus he is also a very appreciated artist for movie posters and collectible items related to the movie industry. Victor Gadino is also a gay themed artist, hosted in important Gay Art Foundations.

Victor is an award winning artist who holds an MFA from Pratt Institute. His work has appeared in the promotion of the top clients of the corporate, publishing, and entertainment worlds, and awards received include one from The Hollywood Reporter for his work on prominent movie posters. He has created album covers for various artists, posters for Broadway plays, and collectibles for the Bradford Exchange, and Franklyn Mint. I believe that, as usual, a cover artist doesn't put the same effort in a cover, since it is less changelling for him. You are right, the details of his paintings are almost human like. Elisa

He is really good in rendering the human body. It would have been interesting to know something more on him, it's really a mystery. Above all since there is so much work by him and for important commission (some of the more famous movie posters are by him). Elisa

La trilogia di Charlie e Peter, ripubblicata di recente, ha le nuove cover di Beau Bell (se clicchi sul nome dell'autore tra i miei tag, c'è il post a lui dedicato con le copertine di Beau Bell). Non sono riuscita a trovare quelle originali, quindi non so se sono sue. Ho fatto molta fatica a trovare quella di The Quirk.
