I had no idea you were in the US. I've been busy and all wrapped up with a manuscript so I haven't checked your blog.
If I'd known, I would have loved to have met you in person. My home in New Hope, Bucks County, PA is between New York and Philadelphia. We are a tourist town and people from Europe say it reminds them of Europe. And my partner's father is from Italy and he owns an Italian market in Phildelphia.
Now I wish I'd kept up with my blog reading.
Sorry you've had so much rain. It's been a rainy summer here altogether. ...Ryan
My trip will end in New York City at the end of this week. I will stay there 3 days. I will come back on Philadelphia on Sunday morning, but we have to take a flight so I don't think we will have time to touring that day, but maybe I can ask to my friend if we can do a stop in the way back to the airport, we will leave New York City in the morning and we have the flight in the afternoon. Elisa
Let me know what your schedule is. I can give you directions and you could stop right by my house on the way. We could have lunch; I'll keep it simple. I would imagine that you'll be on a schedule and I might be out of your way. But I do think you'd like passing through this part of the country and I'm only about forty five minutes from the Philadelphia airport. And it takes about an hour to get here from New York. If you want to google it on a map, I'm right in New Hope, PA.
I'll be here working all week so I'll check my e-mails daily.
My friend is more clever than me and said that we will pass near you on our way from Washington to New York this Wednesday (September 16), more or less at lunch time. Are you free that day? For use it will be more easy since probably my friend Alessandra wants to visit a musuem on Philadelphia the day of our departure.
Hi...I'm working from home all week, so I'm free on Wednesday. I can arrange my schedule to yours. Let me know what times you'll be passing through. I can also help with directions if you need them. Ryan
