2008 Eppie Awards

Congratulations to Alessia Brio [profile] alessia_brio , Anne Douglas, Ruby Storm, Philippa Grey-Gerou, Ciar Culler, Summer Devon, Jet Mykles [profile] jetm , Theolyn Boese, Amelia June [profile] ameliajune , Jenna Jones [profile] jjquixoticquest , Olivia Lorenz, Lucia Logan, Lyndi Lamont, J.M. Snyder [profile] jmsnyder for the nominations.

I like you all girls (cause there is no men between you I can call you girls), and hope you will have fun,

What I want to underlying is that, even if Jenna Jones, Olivia Lorenz, Lucia Logan, Lyndi Lamont, J.M. Snyder are enlisted under the LGBT category, Anne Douglas, Philippa Grey-Gerou and Theolyn Boese's titles have strong M/M elements in them and Ruby Storm and Mary Wine have written or will write M/M romance in the future... the genre is spreading out of its category? Cause for me it's a wrong category. How can you put in the same category Jenna Jones' title, a contemporary Queer as Folk style, Olivia Lorenz's title, an historical drama Madama Butterfly style, Lyndi Lamont's title, a Regency and J.M Snyder, a futurist Blade Runner style?

I will post my usually very long post when the winner will be announced, so no worry for now, your friends page is safe!

Thanks, Elisa! I'm glad that "Persistence of Memory" made the cut, as I love that story :)

BTW, I have added snippets from and links to your reviews here on your LJ on my writing site at jmsnyder.net. Thank you so much for reading my stories!

Thanks JM. I'm always surpries when others think my opinions on books are worthy of attention. I haven't a literature background (I'm working on IT industry and studied Economics) so I'm the "classical" reader, I think. Elisa
