No books today

Today I can't finish my book: I started Snow by Wheeler Scott, but I also worked all day in my coffe book shop and had no time to concentrate: at noon my waitress went mad with the french barman (you know, I named him so often in this journal, maybe is the case to present him: he is Gerald)... so the waitress went mad with Gerald and left her place; so abruptaly I became a waitress and made coffe, cleaned glass, cleaned tables, took order and so on. After that we had an afternoon full of people, so I continued to made coffe, cappucini, the, chocolates... and then we had a night full of people so... I continued to sold books, cause my dear, in the kitchen I was a looser, so I left place for our chef/sommelier (named Pablo). Finally at 1.00 a.m. we closed and I went home, where I am now, with my laptop on my knees, in bed! ciao, elisa

Ehm Shari, I shall admit... I drink no wine, no beer, no whiskey... only margarita, mojto, caipirinha e caipiroska and so on... but it is a little difficult to bring a barman in bed with me to make me cocktail... to made other things maybe not so difficult :-))))).

BTW I'm a "paira" because I live in a county in Italy well known for the good wine and also for the "grappa" a superalcholic: when I was young my mother if I had flu, gave me milk and grappa: maybe I was shocked...

Come now, it can't be that difficult to get a cock....tail in bed. *smirks* I like wine. Red or white. Any good recommendations of Italian wines that can be purchased here in the State. I like trying new ones.

In the United States giving alcohol, even medicinally to children could get a parent into trouble with the law. It wasn't like that as I was growing up, but now it is.

Uhm. Maybe I can ask to Pablo for the name of the producer... for the type in Venero (where I live) we have Tocai, Pinot, Cabernet, Chauvignon, Prosecco. Do you now some of them? ciao, elisa

I have had Pinot, Cabernet and Chauvignon. Not necessarily Italian, but there are many vineyards that make these.

I thought it would be kind of cool to try something from your country. Especially if it was something both familiar here and where you are.

Please, do not trouble yourself too much. - Shari
