Behind the Cover: April Martinez
April Martinez works as a graphic designer in Orange County, California. In 2000, she started doing black & white cartoon illustrations for business newsletters and has since taken commissions for her artwork. Although she does all kinds of artwork, she is best known for her alien cartoons.
Her usual tools are pencil, pen & ink, and Photoshop, but occasionally she works in 3D and watercolor. In her spare time, she also writes and does web design.
