Bright Soul by Erastes

This is a tale, a brief moment in the life of Magnus, an ancient vampire. He is approaching the time to begin a relationship with a favoured one, men who shared a span of his life, until they refuse him, for the reason that he, Magnus, is immortal and they, the favourites, are aging and can't bear to be near him no more.

Erastes has always a dark taste in his works. In a long romance or in a brief tale, I can feel the dark passion which flows in the story: but Magnus is not a  negative character, he really loves all his men and he searches only who wants to be with him. The counterpart of the story are really two men, Stephan, a past lover, and Hayden, the new one. They are cute and "warm", men that are willing to give the upper hand to Magnus (also the name describes his status in the relationship).

You took My Sun and Stars off the list? You're not into longer works, are you?

It depends on the mood. in this moment I feel not to read long works. But I have your book and sometimes I have the raptus to read more books of the same author so I will rethink on My Sun and Stars. Elisa
