Plot: How far would you go to get the person of your dreams? In the first Eating Out, Kyle (Jim Verraros) convinced his straight roommate to pretend to be gay in order to get the girl. Now, with the help of Gwen (Emily Brooke Hands) and Tiffani (Rebekah Kochan), Kyle pretends to be heterosexual in order to land Troy (Marco Dapper), the new guy (and nude model) who's turning the heads of both men and women. He soon finds himself joining the campus ex-gay support group and nabbing a girlfriend (Tiffany)! Kyle's ex-boyfriend Marc (Brett Chukerman) is horrified at the plan and decides to pursue the confused Troy with his own tactic -- being his "out" gay self. Who will win Troy first? In the boy eat boy, boy eat girl, bisexual mystique of Eating Out 2, the stakes are raised, sexual boundaries are obliterated, and the answer is never what you might expect!

Eating Out 2 is slightly better than the previous movie, but thanks only to the actor. Brett Chukerman and Marco Dapper other than being very nice guy, are also quite good. Truth be told, I still can't understand why Brett Chuckerman is the image of gay fantasies (here and also in The Curiosity of Chance), I find him more puppy look than sexy wet dream, but maybe it's only me. Instead Marco Dapper with his role of naive country boy lost in the frat college atmosphere is so cute that it's quite convincing in his role of hard fought prize. I wouldn't mind a bit less of trashy scenes, but overall, Eating Out 2 is an enjoyable comedy. Again, I wouldn't mind to see more developed the relationship between Marc and Kyle.

I saw both movies, but truth be told, you can see only the second without loosing nothing. And it's strange, since the director of Eating Out 1, Q. Allan Brocka is the same director of Boy Culture, that is one of the best gay movie ever. Elisa

I hate to sound so shallow, but I rented this movie totally for Marco Dapper. He's so yummy...love the series of photos Adam Bouska did of him. Yummy. Did I say that already? ;)

And I agree about Brett Chukerman...kind of puzzled about that. I liked the Marc from the first one better.

Well I think Marco Dapper was the main reason to see this movie ;-) And Ryan Carnes was a more credible Marc than Brett Chukerman, it's not that Brett is not a nice guy, it's only that I find quite unbelievable for him to be so unresistible. Elisa
