The Lure of Dangerous Women by Shanna Germain
“The things that call to us—music, cigarettes, art, women—are as strong and murky as the bayou. In New Orleans, they are the bayou.”
Shanna Germain once saw a siren in a New Orleans bar, and she carried the creature’s music in her blood for weeks. When Shanna’s not traveling to places full of water-women and notes, she writes. Her work has appeared in Best American Erotica, Best Gay Romance, Best Lesbian Erotica, Hint Fiction, Pank and more. Swim her seas at www.shannagermain.com.

A Different Kind of Monster by TA Moore
“It wasn’t Peter’s beauty that attracted Sol, rather his cruelty... He was a cold flame to Sol’s moth.”
T.A Moore is a speculative fiction writer from Northern Ireland. Her prose is elegant, surreal and disturbing, generally eliciting the response of ‘but you seem so nice!’ from readers. She takes this as a compliment. Her first novel, The Even, was published by Morrigan Books in Sept 2008.

Just Past Winter by Nathan Sims
“Prisoner of an enemy pack, Marcus has one chance at freedom. But what will the werewolf have to sacrifice to make it back home? ”

Trent Roman is a writer from Montréal with an interest in all types of fiction strange and unusual in addition to academic interests in archaeology, anthropology, history and a number of other fields. He is fascinated by what makes people tick at both the intimately personal level and the sweeping societal level, and enjoys every opportunity to pursue such questions through the means of fiction.

The Diarist by Mark Silcox

He has published other stories in AlienSkin and All Hallows, and his book Philosophy Through Video Games (written with Jon Cogburn) was published in 2008. After All by Laramie Dean
“Danny is making enormous changes in his life after his last disastrous relationship... but all it takes is a chalk-white face at the window to spin everything out of control.”
Laramie Dean is a Rocky Mountain writer who enjoys reading and writing about queer characters in supernatural situations. Originally from Montana, Dean recently finished his doctorate in playwriting and queer theatre.

Happ y Anniversary by Stephen Osborne
“An evening playing with a spirit board brings terror to Max and Perry when a vengeful spirit from Max’s past is conjured.”

Garry McLaughlin is a writer and artist hailing from Glasgow, Scotland. He has been slowly cultivating his first novel, while releasing the first in a series of horror comics as part of a series called Year of Fear.
