Cover Artists are the hidden friends of all authors and I'm glad to recognize them

Elisa, this contest has given me a whole new appreciation for cover art. Bravo to the unsung heroes who play such an important part of capturing reader's interest.

I second that

Congratulations to the winners - and very worthy ones they are, too! And congrats to Elisa as well, for coming through this with flying colours AND for setting it up in the first place.

A brilliant cover goes a long way to selling a book to a browsing potential reader and all of these have that kind of impact.

I'm glad to say (and see) that the quality of the covers improved in the last 3 years, especially for the e-market. Thank you Chris for your kind words

I had thought that A Brush of Wings would win coz it always seememd to have so many votes. Looking back now, the one cover that stood out above all the others for its simplicity of deign but strong image is Can't Help the Way I Feel. Lovely photography and that woman was beautiful.

I think people voted with more focus for this last round, since I "forced" to choose only 3. They were all near each other, sometime less than 3 votes separating them.

Ah. I missed it because the last post I saw was for 10 choices.

It was round 15, opened last week and closed the day before yesterday. The vote was with comment, so I checked the IP address and each comment had to vote for 3 covers, no less no more. In this way I think I prevented the stuffing ballot action that sometime I noticed for only 1 cover.
