When Elisa is bored, she could be dangerous...

... first of all since I start to speak of my self in third point of view!

Today I'm bored...

I changed a bit the layout of my LJ, added a slideshow of the books I will bring with me in California to be signed... a thing utterly useless, but I'm bored...

I edited all my post with "reviews" tag to add the info on the books part of a series, listing all the books in the series and the link to my previous post on that books... I'm bored

I updated the Top M/M romance list and decided to post an "author in the spotlight" every week (on sunday morning perhaps), starting from the top of the list, but I will not post today since it's too recent the last post about the list, and I don't want to bothering you... I'm bored

In half an hour I will be out and go home, and soon after I will go to the theatre to see a very "light" comedy, nothing of committed... hope to not be bored when I will be again at home...

Any hint on what I can do to not be so bored?

you need to meet an interesting male companion who fascinates you

he should be a great conversationalist and a good companion for physical activity

I mean long walks

not necessarily "other" physical activities (just kidding) XD

someone who can get you thinking about different things

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, it's a good suggestion, but "interesting males" are a rare breed... any idea where I can find one?

and I'm not against the idea of sex physical activity, they say it's a very good way to loose weight, something I'm in need to so and soon!

A teacher once told me never to look for guys at a bar/club---look for them in dull places like a library, business (even a church XD)....where you meet them is important.

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 03:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Ouch, I just killed God, I don't think I will be welcomed in a church... should try the library!

Put an ice cube down your back. You will be uncomfortable, but you won't be bored.

Variation... Find a nice-looking man and put an ice cube down his back--and hope he's got a sense of humor!

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Also you Lee with the nice-looking men... there aren't nice looking men around here!!! I should move on another country... Elisa

At this moment we have exciting game Italy VS Romania and you're bored!

Muroku is absolutely right. That's why I'm searching at bookstores.(without result)

Take elastic bands(small) and shoot men!(never on face) It's my favorite way to kill time.
Go square(or somewhere) and watch football game with people! You can hug people without being misunderstood :D

Nice evening :)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't like soccer :-( And I don't like places too crowded... But the idea of the "fionda" (small elastic bands) is nice, I should try.

But why all you my friends want that I find a man? Are you worried for me and my social skills?

Elisa

[identity profile] maximvanziel.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you worried for me and my social skills?

No. Because you can't find proper person without being yourself. I'm sure you'll find someone but I don't convince you to do now.
But sometimes you have to visit the places with a lot of people. I hate usually crowded place, although I find it not bad sometimes.

But the idea of the "fionda" (small elastic bands) is nice, I should try.

Yes, you'll learn not only how to shoot, but also how to hide :D

Del Piero is beautiful!

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:22 pm (UTC)(link)
> Del Piero is beautiful!

Max!!! Look the game not the players! And Del Piero is very small, in person you would not like him.

Elisa

Look the game not the players!

Of course I'm watching the game! But to watch players is great enjoyment!
Yes, he is short, but cute :)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm, I bet you lost most of the goal, since you are looking at the goodies of the players instead of the ball!

Elisa

[identity profile] maximvanziel.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
I bet you lost most of the goal

Never :)
Even though white shorts of Netherlands' team is made of very thin cloth and I can see something jumping and dancing in their pants :D
Do they wear them on purpose?

I wish you nice weekend :)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
Ahah I know that!!! And yes, I think they do that on purpose to "impress" the enemy :-)))

It makes me rethink my kinkiness in my blood or gene...

BTW, your niece is perfect red-haired! You must research your family's origin seriously :)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, Giulia is a bit of Irish, isn't she?... actually my family origins from father is French and German (with a bit of Austria) and from mother should be Spanish (spanish jewish)

[identity profile] maximvanziel.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, Giulia is a bit of Irish, isn't she?...

I could say also Dutch-German or Nordic :) But surely Celtic.
So we two have almost same origins except for French :D Surprise!

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
Oh well, but mine origins is very far! My family is Italian since the nineteen century. My father's family was from Piemonte, and before that from Savoia (now French territory). But the name is uncertain, there is also a town named Rolle in Switzerland, and also a mystic poet named Michel Rolle in England in the thirteen century... Anyway always from my father's branch, I have also an Austrian grand-grand-parents, since in Veneto in the eighteen century the government was Austrian.

Instead from my mother's family we only know that the name was "invented" in the sixteen century by a jewish converted to the catholicism who wanted to lose his jewish origin. Probably he was from Spain.

>but mine origins is very far!...before that from Savoia (now French territory).

It's very interesting and fantastic!

>and also a mystic poet named Michel Rolle in England in the thirteen century...

Weird. I don't know if "Rolle" is common surname like Rossi or Tosi or Moretti(I'm not sure for spelling, but you can find them even in Austria), but it sounds unique to me.

>the name was "invented" in the sixteen century by a jewish converted to the catholicism who wanted to lose his jewish origin.

This reminds me a film of Jewish people in Spain(but I hadn't patience to see it completely).

When I visited Nagasaki, I found a lot of relics and traces of Dutch/Spanish/Portugal culture from 17th century. I enjoyed Dutch influenced cuisine and Spanish-Portugal sweets there. I wondered if somebody of my ancestors has visited in past, because I had a kind of deja vu. Most of Japanese-Dutch children had immigrated into Indonesia because of religion.

History has really fun :)

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, history is very fun. And no Rolle it's not a common surname. Just today I need to go to a family reunion, we make them every ten year more or less, and collect all the "Rolle" from all around. Usually we are a hundreds of people.

Actually I like this things, but today I'm not in the mood...

Because Leos...

[identity profile] muroku.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Leos are hunters and they like to have their prey between their paws. No fascinating hunt or social interaction makes for a bored sleepy feline.

Re: Because Leos...

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. I like flesh and blood... grrrrr... Elisa (big yawn like a Leo apparently bored, but instead waiting for the hunt!)

[identity profile] zamaxfield.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I always tell my children only boring people get bored, and now since you're the least boring person EVER, you've made a liar of me.

Well... It's come to that at last. Elisa, I'm very much afraid that instead of reading all those lovely M/M novels it's your turn to write one. Writing is many things but rarely boring. And you clearly have a great many lovely eye candy men for inspiration.

And may I say, if you are in Italy, where the rest of the world goes to look at beautiful Italian men, are there two Italies? Or are we all deluded?

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You are all deluded! Joke apart, I'm a bit of a nerd and it's not simple to socialize. Plus I spend most of my time in front of a pc (for work) and need to re-learn to go out and meet person!

Not Bored...Poised for...

[identity profile] ajllewellyn.livejournal.com 2008-06-13 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)
a big change.
Elisa, my lovely Elisa...I have never been bored in my life (all those strange voices in my head keep me busy) BUT my advice is that it's time for you to step up to the plate as they say in baseball and start writing.
I think you will turn out some splendid M/M romances. And guess what, I'll be first in line to buy.
Aloha,
AJ.

Oh well, I can think on that, but they will be in Italian so I don't know if you can read them! Elisa

Hi Elisa! Mmm...Italian, eh? Well, maybe they could be tranlated? I would be willing to try deciphering it with a dictionary. How was the play?
And how is your beautiful niece?

They say she is all my brother, and probably she is a redhead like my mother. She is still under 3 kg, but she is growing. Elisa

your niece is so cute...with all the red hair ^^

I saw your list on books you're going to bring to California :)and I think you'll bring more back home...

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2008-06-14 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. And yes, also I think I will bring back more books! Elisa
