An year in review meme

ashmedai (hope you are having a nice New Year's Eve). Actually last year but I decided to do it again this year to see if something is changed...
1. What did you do this year that you've never done before?
I thought a lot to this answer, but actually I believe that for me this year there wasn't any new exeperience.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Again I have no intention do do new year's resolutions so I will be sure to not loose them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth this year?
Yes, and a nice birth to: my niece Giulia, in may, the daughter of my brother.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Fortunately not, this year no one physically close to me. But one of my best friend online, a dear man, William, lost his mother soon before Christmas, and even if I know that he is coping, sometime I'm still a little worried, since he had a very special relationship with her.
5. What countries did you visit this year?
USA for the third time, I went in California, driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
6. What would you like to have in the next year that you lacked this year?
A bit of lucky :-)
7. What date from this year will remain etched upon your memory?
September, when I went in USA: I really need a vacation and it was a very good one.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
My LiveJournal, I believe: I don't know why, really, but it grew in an awesome way (this month I had more than 10.000 single visits) and it allows me to meet a lot of nice friends online.
9. What was your biggest failure of the year?
Big failure no, but maybe in my daywork I could do a bit more, regarding the managing of other people, but I'm mostly an independent person and I'm not doing very well with team work.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes, I had a lot of migraines I still have to understand why (I'm taking some medical check up) and then a car accident that didn't help with my migraine.
11. What was the best thing you bought this year?
Again I have to say books, they are always the best things to buy.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration (a public or private personality)?
All my friends list which is always supporting, even the people I don't know and pop out in the more unexepected moment.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Friends on my real life, that now I believe aren't so friend.
14. Where did most of your money go this year?
On my car and in books and also a bit on my travel in California, it was my gift to myself.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about this year?
Meeting some people I only knew online: it was a very nice exeperience.
16. What song will always remind you of this year?
"A te" by an Italian singer, Jovanotti
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
- happier or sadder? Happier (a bit, not to much :-) )
- richer or poorer? Richer (a bit, not to much :-) )
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Meeting people in real life, this year I was mostly like an hermit, but I was really not in the mood.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Quarreling with my mother, but it's almost impossible not doing so, we are too much stubborn.
20. How did you spend the holidays?
Stranded at home, since I wrecked my car soon before Christmas!
21. Did you fall in love this year?
No, not at all, and I regret it.
22. How many one-night stands did you have this year?
None.
23. What was your favorite TV program for the year?
I don't watch TV so none.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not really, I haven't met so much new person to hate someone, and no one I knew from before did something to be hated.
25. What was the best book you read this year?
Again I read too much books to choose only one :-)
26. What was your favorite film of the year?
Big Fish, Shelter and 3 Days Weekend
27. How would you describe your personal fashion concept this year?
Very, very, very comfort, a lot of wool and linen.
28. Whom did you miss this year?
A lover.
29. Who was the best new person you met this year?
