Left Side of the Moon (Dance Wars) by Sophia Titheniel

First of all about this ebook it's the nice surprise that it's quite long for a Changeling Press' typical book lenght, 62 pages but small type. Second surprise: it's a very strong but very erotic book, not romance, not dancing around, but full and graphic detail sex.

Lachlan is a futuristic Pony Express in an apocalyptic United States. In this world, some places are safer than other: Washington is among the not safe and Lachlan should pass as fast as he can. And instead he stops, not only he enters a downtown pub that it's all than safe and as soon as he enters the place, he is challenged. But the type of war they make there is not the type he is used: they dance! Dance war to challenge each other and determine who is the best. Adair, the leader of one of the gang, is not out typical dancer: he is strong and very handsome, a man who probably could fight also with his fists other than with his legs on a stage.

And when Lachlan questions Adair's skill outside the pub, he asks for an almost rape scene; they have sex rough and fast, Lachlan surrenders all he has to Adair, begging for more. And when Adair sends him away after his best ever sexual experience, Lachlan comes back to ask more and more. There is no romance, there aren't nice words, Adair is a strong alpha and Lachlan is a begging omega, without any intention to question who has the upper hand in their sexual relationship... in private life I don't know, since Adair and Lachlan seem to always being in bed when they are together.

All in all the story surprise me, for its forceful sex, but also for the characters that are not at all as you can expect: Lachlan manages to remain a strong character despite being a "beggar" in bed, and Adair is a total top despite his dancing fight skill... yes, I know, I'm influenced by my culture, I know that if a man begs in bed or can dance it's not said that he should be a bottom, but for me this means that the author was able to go outside the usual boundaries.

Side note: despite the cover and Adair being a werewolf, there is not any hint on sex in shift form.

Christmas Traditions by Lisa Marie Davis

This is a nice little story that follows Royce and Caden first Christmas after they are reunited in When Love Comes Back Around. From the previous book we know that Royce and Caden were highschool sweethearts, but they always hid their love; when Caden's father found out about his son, he managed to force Caden to leave Royce alone. This event was particularly dramatic since Royce had an abusive family and Caden was the only happy memory of his youth. Years later Caden and Royce are again together, and Caden wants this Christmas to be perfect for his lover, to start a Christmas tradition of happy memories.

It's no more than a scene, 20 pages of tender love under the Christmas tree, but it's nice. There are a lot of things that remain hang on, Royce and Caden want to legalize their relationship, but they live in New York and so they probably need to do something, but these are all material things that have no space under a Christmas tree.

So if you read the previous book, this is a nice add, and instead if you haven't, you can buy both and read them together: the sweet and tender atmosphere is common in both book.

What type of MAN turns you on...

Your result for The What type of MAN turns you on Test...

Tough guy

You scored 55% masculine, 59% athletic, 36% exotic, and 38% refined!

You love men, you love testosterone and you know it. You like a bad-ass man who knows what he wants. He isn't what you might bring home to mom but I don't think it really matters - he's hot! Someone like.....Vin Diesel. But let's face it, the whole point of this was to look at a bunch of hot guys. If you liked what you saw, please rate my test!

Take The What type of MAN turns you on Test at HelloQuizzy

Well, yes he is definetely hot, but I like better the explanation, since I believe that it corresponds to what type of man turns me on :-)

The Men of Tom Jones

There are so many things to find out in TomJonesMen website, not only his works but also his life. Since it's so wonderfully written and also illustrated with very nice personal pics (and the artist seems to be a very handsome man), I reccommend to go on the site and read it if you have time, I will provide you the link to the single part. Meanwhile, I picked up some works I liked, but they are only a few in an ocean...

For TomJonesMen being able to have a ‘professional’ website (a gift from his friend Alex) is a milestone of sorts in his ‘art career’. Although art is certainly his primary passion now, it hasn’t always been so. Around the turn of the millenium his future was very undecided, and his future direction was uncertain. So he took time to write ‘his story’ and now it seems adding in the website might complement all the images. So there, for your entertainment and his gratitude- you can find the real tomjonesmen.

> part 1: I got a job at the Barn Dinner Theater

> part 2: The summer session at the country’s premier school for fashion

> part 3: I moved to High Point to be near work

> part 4: The plan was for me to meet up with Walter in Vichy

> part 5: The boy I pledged to love and live for is now a middle-aged man

> part 6: By this time Ulf and I had been through a lot together

> part 7: Somewhere to store our stuff

> part 8: Celibacy was an idea toyed with

> part 9: Closing out the millennium
