There are so many things to find out in TomJonesMen website, not only his works but also his life. Since it's so wonderfully written and also illustrated with very nice personal pics (and the artist seems to be a very handsome man), I reccommend to go on the site and read it if you have time, I will provide you the link to the single part. Meanwhile, I picked up some works I liked, but they are only a few in an ocean...

Towelwrap, 11 x 14 graphite on paper

Springtime, 11x14 acrylic on canvas

Fallen Angel, 18x24 graphite on paper

Infatuation, 9x12 graphite on tracing paper

Infrared, 24x36 acrylic on canvas

Cowboy Connecton, 24x36. "Cowboy Connection" is a title I associate with the song 'The Rainbow Connection'. A guy on my email list made the suggestion to do an image celebrating the connections we make. I love this painting on many levels. What's great for me personally is feeling that my art intends me (and I hope you, all of us) forward. and as it turned out I made the most important personal connection in my life a few months earlier, but didn't realize it fully at the time. But I think this painting came from the inner feeling it gave me. By the way, it was painted the year BEFORE Brokeback Mountain was released (so it was ahead of the trend :-) ) - TomJonesMen

Menage, 24x36 acrylic on canvas. I'd heard that if you let yourself go, carnaval in Rio de Janeiro can be like this and, thank god, it was for me. You go and jump half or more naked into a riot of music, fun, and passion. You don't know who's behind you and what's in front of you is so outrageously hot you don't care. It's fantasy to end all fantasy until maybe hours later you realize those hands working your legs and thighs are also picking your pocket. Then in addition to the drums and music blaring you can hear the gears stripping as your head has to get around the fact it wasn't love but a setup. If you'd read the guides you'd have contributed no more than a few bucks to this special kind of 'charity' and kept your ass covered. (And I'm not meaning that metaphorically :-) ). My problem was the dudes stole my keys too which meant that after those exhausting hours of street passion was an exhausting time filling out forms in the police station. But damn if the police weren't seductive hunks too and waited with me until the locksmith arrived. At 5a.m. sadly I watched them all depart. Sad and down not because I was alone, but because it cost $250 more to get into my apartment and have the lock changed. But during carnaval anyway, if they f***ed me at least they kissed me first :-) - TomJonesMen

First Time, 16 x 20 acrylic on canvas

For TomJonesMen being able to have a ‘professional’ website (a gift from his friend Alex) is a milestone of sorts in his ‘art career’. Although art is certainly his primary passion now, it hasn’t always been so. Around the turn of the millenium his future was very undecided, and his future direction was uncertain. So he took time to write ‘his story’ and now it seems adding in the website might complement all the images. So there, for your entertainment and his gratitude- you can find the real tomjonesmen.
