Okay. I linked to both now on my blog list so I can get here easily. I like the look. I have a LJ blog that I haven't used in years now. I keep it open but don't actually post there. Sometimes I use AOL software and the AOL browser and they aren't that compatible with LJ.

I'm over there too as clarelondon. I set up a mirror account a year ago when LJ had their last DDoS attack and went down for a while. I post initially at DW then cross-post to LJ. It works well.

Yes, I've been having the same spam problems *sigh* though I haven't checked their source yet.

the Spam was awful, I had already limited the comments to Open ID only, but that was not enough. I had to limit it to Friends only, and at this point, I'm moving to DW, at least there people can comments without issues.

Hi,

Just saw an entry on the other site but could not reply there, so thought I would chime in. My latest two books are 1-- science fiction, THE DÉJÀ DANCE, and 2, A gay love story A MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING. So I am still writing, just not mysteries, at the moment!

One treat I have had as an author is seeing how well my vision of a novel was receivd by the cover artist. The cover for BELOVVED PILGRIM was a mtch made in heaven for Ann Cain, the artist, and me... she did such a beautiful medieval style cover and I know enough about the Middle Ages not only to write the book but to appreciate the cover. Qhat's more her image of Elisabeth/Eloas did my heart proud.. showing a woman who looks like what she really is inside.. a man. I vote for BELOVED PILGRIM to show my appreciation for Ann Cain's vision and talent.
