2013 Rainbow Awards: Call for judges

Due to the (unexpected) amount of submissions, I need to send out another call for judges. Specifically, I need judges for the second reading period, October/November, from 3 to 5 books to be read in 2 months.

At the moment, I need judges for:
Lesbian Fantasy
Lesbian Historical Romance
Lesbian Mystery/Thriller
LGBT Sci-fi/Futuristic

plus I wouldn't say no to help reading the last minute submissions, that means due date September 30.

If you are interested in joining the Rainbow Awards jury (readers, reviewers, authors, editors, publishers are welcome), please contact me.

Permission to re-post grated.

ETA: thank you for the HUGE help. If you still wish to help, the call is now for
Gay Paranormal Romance, 5 books, in October/November
plus help reading last minute submissions, from now to September 30.

Have you fulfilled the need of judges? I'm an avid reader and very available if you need me.

If you're looking for general readers, I'd be happy to help. I'm willing to read just about anything. Depending on the length of the books, I can chew through three to five in a month easily.

I would definitely like to know what the standard criteria are first before signing on if at all possible so that I can ensure that I am capable of filling the requested role in a competent way.

Also, if you need last-minute readers, happy to help there, too.

I was sent this way by Kyell Gold's post. I might be able to help if you still need it; I'd like to know the length of the works in question and the scope of the judging. :)

My most reliable method of contact is via thegneech@gmail.com.

I would like to help, probably in something not Lesbian themed. Do you have a post with details on what being a reader means? (Or can you sum up? Deadlines, expectations and such?)

you are welcome

Elisa, this is really Julie Bozza... :-)

I'd be happy to help, especially as 3 of those 4 categories won't create any conflict of interest between me and my regular publisher or fellow writers.

Can I volunteer for Lesbian Historical Romance, please?
