Asking reading advice... William J. Mann?

Making some of my research for the news release on my blog, I have found this author: William J. Mann who has a gay-novel soon out, Men Who Love Men.

A part is strikingly beautiful look (oh guys, but really a man so beautiful is also able to write? he indeed has a brain under all those muscles?) someone in my Flist can tell me if he is a worthy author? I want to buy his books on amazon, but before spend my money, I want some advice...

thanks to everyone could help me... elisa

hmmm can you go to the library to see if they have his books? That is what I do if truly have no clue about a print author.

No, this is not an option for me: I live in Italy, Padua, and in my city there aren't original language's library and we have only one foreign language's bookstore who doesn't have this author. I can only buy him on blind online...

*pouts* well that sucks, but not that you live in Italy cause that rocks. I can offer this recommendation called The Night We Met (http://www.amazon.com/Night-We-Met-Rob-Byrnes/dp/0758201931/ref=sr_1_2/002-1896967-8158406?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1177773526&sr=1-2) by Rob Byrnes. I just simply loved this book.

I would have sworn that I had more books/stories by WJM, but all I'm finding at the moment is "All American Boy".

From what I read of the novel, he's a very talented author. Granted, I didn't read but about 1/4 of the way through because the present POV annoyed me. I don't mind it in short stories, but novel-length? Not for me.

I'd be glad to send you this book if you want to give him and his style a try.

Send me the book? It will be wonderful, but can I give you something in exchange? or can I refound you?

No, no. That's ok. I'd be happy to send it along :)

I'm not sure if this one and "Men who Love Men" are in the same POV's (present vs past), but it'll at least give you an idea.
