*waves* Hi, Elisa!

Thanks for adding me, too, and thanks for the kind words :)

I'm sorry to hear of your computer problems. I had something similar happen recently and I'm still trying to replace everything.

For me was a tragedy. One night my laptop didn't want to open (blue screen, grrrr) but I said: no bad, I have my home pc and all the data I have on the laptop I also have on the home pc. Two days later also my home pc left me, and so I lost many data, cause my last back up was in august 2005. I ask to my brother why (he is a geek, an IT engeneering) and he tolf me perhaps I shut down brutally both of my pc to often (when I'm in hurry, and this time I'm always in hurry, I switch off the pc, withou shut down...). All the ebooks by Loose Id I can redownloaded, but those from Torquere (like yours) I can't. So now I rebuy it (you, Willa Okati, many others). And now I made everyday back up of the ebooks, and also copy it in an USB key!

Oh no, I can only imagine!

I'm pretty strict about shutting down my systems. I know my husband can attest to my yelling when it isn't done right. The main reason for that, is that I know I won't have the money to fix things should they break.

Loose Id is great about the redownloads. I do wish more e-presses would consider it.

Oh! Those USB keys are great! I have several that I keep close by at all times. My laptop crashed a few months back (when I was 1/2 way through Soul Mates 2) and if it weren't for my USB keys, I'd have been very lost.
