On July 13 there was The Big Gay CD Release party at NYC and in the fall it will be the time for the Movie itself. Director Casper Andreas, with cameo roles of many broadway stars, and also of Brent Corrigan, here is a teaser and the trailer:

Sounds good! Something I'd like to see, if I had the chance. Especially since Brent is in it. I am not a big fan of musicals, but this seems so cute. And positive. Can't help but think that usually all gay themed movies end up quite depressing. Like when it's a gay story, it has to be a sad story.

Casper Andreas has had only one slip on the "sad" gay story cliche, with Between love and goodbye; all the other movies are full romance with happily ever after (Slutty Summer and A Four Letter Word), so I have good hope for this one. Elisa

I am after A Four Letter Word now. I know I have Slutty Summer somewhere on a dvd... Any other gay themed movie you'd recommend? One that wouldn't make me feel like eating ice cream from depression after it ends?

wow, thank you! I've seen Letter Days - very nice indeed! and Shelter too - excellent summer movie with all the surfing and the beaches. Just a question of love is French or Canadian, right? Very good looking actors! I'd add Gone, But Not Forgotten as a nice movie with a happy end too. I liked it a lot, even if I heard bad reviews.

I liked Gone, But Not Forgotten, I didn't add it to the list since it has a down mood even if it has an happily ever after. But I like very much Matthew Montgomery, Long-Term Relationship is very nice, and also Back Soon has an HEA, but like Gone, But Not Forgotten, I wouldn't say that all the movie is light. Elisa
