The Rainbow Awards: Some Rules
I'm updating the posts to include new submissions. I will try to do that every day, so every new title submitted will have the same chances as the others already in the poll. Please remember that:
- The elegibility period is September 2008 (included) - August 2009 (included). I'm making some exception for titles, for example, out at the beginning of September 2009 (there is a title out September 1!), but I can't consider books that were relesead in 2007, and never re-printed, even if they are wonderful. It would be not fair to other authors that maybe went under the labor to see their books reprint by another publishers, with all the work it implies.
- Try to choose the right category. I listed a title under Contemporary since more than one person voted it as Contemporary, but I read that book and it's a Paranormal, without any doubt. Since I don't want to go against the vote of more than 5, I will leave it in the Contemporary category, but IF it will arrive in the final 10, we should consider if shifting it in the Paranormal category, where it should have been rightly listed
- There is not a specific Erotic subcategory, mainly since I didn't receive enough submission and also since, the few I received were always paired with the question: is the book to be considered Erotic? I think there is a whole range level of Erotica out there, but it's difficult to part Erotica from non Erotica. We have already a problem to fill the L, B and T subcategory, I think it's hard task enough ;-)
All right, that is all for now, and thank you to all of you that already voted, the response was stunning, hope we will have more voting in the following week.

- Print book previously released as ebook
and
- Re-release with a different publisher
if between September 2008-August 2009 are included
I can't consider book out before the eligibility period and never re-released, not in print nor with a different publisher

Bound by Blood released in print in March 2007, then Deceptions (also, March 2007) and Sacrifice (August 2007) released simultaneously in ebook and print.
But thank you for thinking of me!
