The Rainbow Awards: Monitoring the Voting System

I said this before and in different emails in these days, so I will say it again: I'm monitoring the IP address of all people that are voting using the comment section and double check it with the LJ accounts; it's a boring and long task but I'm doing it.

You are a good community, till now I found only some strange cases, and they are more mistake in using the double possibility of nominating a book with the Input Boxes and the Comment Section than real fraudulent intention.

I will double check LJ accounts and IP addresses, in the final voting count, so no, it's not possible to vote more than one time the same book in the same phase (at least not with the same Internet Provider...)

I suspect that when you had this excellent idea you didn't fathom the amount of work that this would actually need.

Yes, probably ;-) My reading list is becoming longer and longer but in this moment, I think it is better and useful that I devoted myself to this task. Elisa

Hi Elisa, when I voted on Friday I also added in the Contemporary category the book "The One That Got Away" by TC Blue, but did not see it listed in the actual updated poll listing today. There are two books of the same title but written by different authors. One by TC Blue and the other by Rhianne Aile and Madeleine Urban.

Hi. I can't add the book in the poll, I list all the new books at the bottom of the poll, and T.C. Blue one is there. To vote them people have to leave a comment of fill the input box in the poll. When Phase 2 will start, I will create new polls, and the book will be listed in the poll this time. If people already voted in the poll in this phase, and after that see T.C. Blue's book, they can vote it. Elisa
