Rainbow Awards: Special Behind the Cover

Phase 2 of the Rainbow Award is almost finished and Phase 3 will be a reading phase, lasting 6 weeks; the Jury will read the books and you? Well, you can vote for your favorite cover, of course!

the covers are grouped in slot of 10, each slot represent a question in the polls. My suggestion: open the above webpage in a different browser than the poll, and look at the covers while ticking off the ones you want to vote in the poll.

Since this is a "funny" contest, I will allow only votes through LJ accounts, not voting with comments sorry. The good news is that you can vote as many covers as you want for all the length of the contest :-) The cover contest will last for six week: every week the covers will be halved by 50%, to arrive at the sixth week with only 10 covers. The winning cover will be announced at the same time with the winner of the 2009 Rainbow Awards for LGBTQ Fiction and Non Fiction.

Elisa, I sent you a pdf copy of Angels of the Deep to use as giveaway in the awards (I wondered why I never saw it!) but just tonight the email was returned to me as "undeliverable". I suppose it was because of the file size, though I've been able to send you files before. Do you have a gmail address? And if not, please feel free to pass on a copy of Angels in the awards anyway. :)

I just want to say these are some of the most beautiful covers I've seen. Wow. Thank goodness we can vote for more than one. I'd never be able to make a single choice. :-)
