California Day 12: Sausalito & Marin County
Today we decided to cross the Golden Gate bridge to visit the Marin County, a part of the North Bay Area famous for its vista points. Unfortunately it was a foggy day, at least in the morning, and we passed the most stunning vista points, like Muir Beach and Stinton Beach that it was impossible to see something. We arrived at Sausalito for lunch time, and it was not what I was expecting: in comparison to all the other beach village I saw on the Pacific Highway, Sausalito was full of tourist and for me with little to be impressed, if not the view on the San Francisco skyline. On the return route, we managed to do a detour to the last vista point and this time, the fog was gone and the vista was wonderful. Now I'm in San Francisco, waiting to go out again to a reading of Scott Pomfret (of Scott&Scott, Romentics novels) at A Different Light bookstore in Castro.

Did it bother you to travel across the Golden Gate Bridge?

I love the Brooklyn Bridge and walk it as often as I can.
