Wicked Gentlemen's Ebooks Giveaway

Blind Eye Books, in cooperation with Weightless Books, is pleased to announce their first digital release.

Ginn Hale's award winning novel, Wicked Gentlemen is now available as an ebook for a mere six bucks!

While Nicole Kimberling, Blind Eye Books' publisher, admits that they were all hesitant to enter in to the digital market, they couldn't be more pleased and proud.

To celebrate, Nicole has a couple of free copies to give away! So friends, congrats to her and Ginn in the thread comment and maybe tomorrow you will have a surprise in your mailbox ;-) And don't forget to leave a contact if you don't have a LJ account.

Belimai Sykes is many things: a Prodigal, the descendant of ancient demons, a creature of dark temptations and rare powers. He is also a man with a brutal past and a dangerous addiction. And Belimai Sykes is the only man Captain William Harper can turn to when faced with a series of grisly murders. But Mr. Sykes does not work for free and the price of Belimai's company will cost Captain Harper far more than his reputation. From the ornate mansions of noblemen, where vivisection and sorcery are hidden beneath a veneer of gold, to the steaming slums of Hells Below, Captain Harper must fight for justice and for his life. His enemies are many and his only ally is a devil he knows too well.

Hi, Elisa!

I don't need the e-book because I've got the version in print, which is a quality product like all books from Blind Eye Books.

But I wanted to say once more how awesome I find the story. It's just perfect.

Congratulations to Ginn and Nicole, and thanks to you!

Ciao

Antonella

Wow, this is a wonderful news. It's months that I have WG in my Wish List, but for a reason or the other (mainly that I have a ton of print books and no space at home), I didn't buy it. Even if I will be not the winner, I will for sure buy the ebook. Will it have the same cover? It's so beautiful. Julia

I absolutely adore this book! I have it in print and brought it with me here to Brasil. :-)

[identity profile] annesible.livejournal.com 2010-03-09 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm so pleased this will be available in ebook format now. I was at Gaylaxicon in '08 when Ginn won the Gaylactic Spectrum Award for the book and as a past winner, I had the honor of being one of the first to congratulate her.

I've wanted to read the book ever since, but the print edition just wasn't within my budget. I can't wait to read it now!

Ebook market definitely on the increase...

Ebooks have had a bad reputation for a very long time, and while it might have initially been deserved, there is every indication -- this book as good a piece of evidence as any -- that they're finally beginning to lose their previously tarnished nature to stand right alongside their print-version cousins, by way of respectability. I'd be more than pleased to have my name added to the list of people with a chance to add this one to my growing e-book collection.

Thanks everybody for your warm wishes. I'm really excited about our new partner, Weightless Books. Gavin Grant helped us in all kinds of ways when Blind Eye was first starting out and I'm happy that we can continue to work together.

[identity profile] ginnhale.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Elisa,
Thank you so much for posting about the new e-book!

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
You were more than welcom Ginn, and I'm glad people seem so enthusiastic of the ebook version as they are of the print book. Elisa

[identity profile] ginnhale.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that it's greatly due to the efforts of good people like you, who do so much to spread the word about GBLT books that people are excited.

I could write all I wanted but if no one knew about it, it wouldn't matter. So I just feel like I should send out a big thanks to you and all the fine folks who review, post, blog and just talk about publications that would otherwise pass without note.

[identity profile] elisa-rolle.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you Ginn, it's always nice to hear that, and if this blog, and others, help to spread the words, it's the less we can do, good books need all the help we can give them.
